Central Austin

From 1940’s bungalows to new sprawling mansions, central Austin has something for everyone. The diversity of Austin is clearly displayed in our central neighborhoods. Austin has not abandoned the city for the suburbs and urban living abounds in these areas.

Central East Austin

Artists, musicians and families alike call the east corridor of I35 their home. This area of urban renewal offers more affordable living in the heart of the city, while many locally owned Austin hangouts like El Chile and East Side Café are a stone’s throw away. Mueller is Austin’s collaborative effort with developers to a create a new type of urbanism with large parks, a lake, and mixed use housing. No longer a secret, East Austin is a destination.

Central North

Every time I drive through the neighborhoods of central North Austin, I notice more unique restaurants and retail being built. There are great spots for families to hang out- like Hey Cupcake and Phil’s station- and beautiful tree lined streets to walk along. Many first time home buyers occupy the smaller cottages and then stick around to build their custom homes on the bigger lots of Allandale.

Northwest Austin

Easy access to the lake, awesome city views, and established schools make this area of Austin a popular dwelling place for families. The Domain is the newest destination shopping area in Austin and officially anchors North Austin as an upscale living destination. Sprawling ranch homes with stone facades are a plenty in Northwest Hills while multiple level homes with city and lake views dot Cat Mountain.

Central South Austin

South Austinites are proud to be just that! And for much reason! With walking distance to Zilker park, downtown, trendy SoCo shops, and Town Lake, it is hardly necessary to get in your car. Condos provide the high life for young working urbanites, while the newer custom homes nestled in the hills of Barton Springs and Travis Heights allow room for growing families.

West Austin

West Austin is a popular spot for people seeking the peace and quiet of a rural setting, with all the conveniences of city living only a hill and a valley away. Access to 360, MoPac, and the well known schools are a magnet for newcomers and families alike. Homes range from older ranch style homes in Rollingwood to luxury living on the lake in Westlake.

Southern Austin

South of HWY290, you will find some of the most stunning master planned communities nestled near neighborhoods built in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It now feels like these communities have always lived side by side. These neighborhoods offer convenient access to major thoroughfares, clustered shops, services, parks and greenbelts.

Southwest Austin

Many Austin families call Southwest Austin home. Its suburban feel, master planned communities, and proximity to acclaimed schools attract families seeking a more suburban lifestyle. Neighborhood pools are full during the summer, streets fill with strollers during the day, and carpools are easily formed.
