Our business began with a love affair for houses and the creative process that is involved with purchasing a home—both the entrepreneurial process of buying homes with the greatest potential for ROI and the process of customizing a home with personal flair and lifestyle optimization. We have over 20 years of combined experience in construction and design and flipped homes in Austin for more than 5 years. We are two for the price of one. We handle the details because a good real estate transaction is contingent upon the details. What else makes us stand out?
- We know Austin: Austin is our home, we are raising our children here, we have studied the Austin market for years, and we know the ends and outs of the city. On a personal note..
Jessica and Joe met while preparing to work overseas with Food for the Hungry in Latin America. They were engaged in Guatemala where Joe lead construction teams and Jessica taught school. Upon getting married, Jessica managed to get Joe to move back to her college town of Austin, Texas (he is an Indiana Hoosier).
They remodeled their first home together in 2003 and soon discovered they made a great real estate team. They began to buy, remodel, then sell homes together. Soon, other people came to them for their personal real estate needs. This encouraged them to get their Texas real estate licenses and launch their real estate business while continuing to remodel homes. In the summer of 2008, they completed their final project with Honegger Construction and launched full time into into being realtors.
They are both uniquely gifted. Joe is excruciatingly detail oriented and handles contracts, negotiations, and closings. Jessica LOVES houses! She enjoys meeting with clients and walking with them through the sometimes emotional process of buying and selling a home.
They have two children and they love to travel! In the past few years, they have visited Europe, Indonesia, Mozambique, Mexico, Guatemala, and South Africa twice. Jessica loves good wine, long meals, soft sheets, and hiking. Joe loves spending time in his workshop, good food, snowboarding, and travel.
